Worksop: Charity double for St John’s with donations from Prospect Juniors and Asda
Andrew Ferrol, a Year Three pupil of St John’s, suffers from that disease he is the driving force behind the school’s decision to support JDRF.
St John’s first received a cheque for £457.95 from Prospect Junior School in a special assembly at the Worksop school.

Hide AdThe fantastic amount was a Prospect school record and was raised at various events throughout the year.
The cheque was presented to Linda Foy, a teaching assistant at St John’s, and Sadie Munro from JDRF North.
St John’s also received £200 from the Community Life Fund at Asda at Celtic Point.
Nicola Peake, from Asda, made the presentation to Sadie Munro, Andrew Ferrol, Chloe Hind and Dylan Peake.
