Worksop: Brave bereaved mum tackles 5k a day charity challenge in memory of baby daughter
Louise Murphy is tackling the fundraising challenge in aid of Worksop charity JOEL: The Complete Package, which is aiming to raise £35,000 to renovate a room for bereaved parents. on the hospital’s labor ward.
Lousie said: “Our precious girl Essie was due on October 31, so this month is going to be extremely hard for us.
“October is also infant loss awareness month.

Hide Ad“I wanted to have a challenge and something to focus on, so I am going to run 5k every day this month, a total distance of 155k or 96 miles. I’m asking people to please sponsor me if they can.
“With their help, the new room will give bereaved parents privacy while they are spending times with their precious baby or babies.”
Louise’s final 5k fundraising run will take place at Clumber Park, where there will be a celebratory picnic afterwards.
