The Salt of the Earth set to be shown by Louth Film Club
The multi-award- winning The Salt of the Earth, which takes a look at the work of Sebastião Salgado, will be shown at The Playhouse Cinema in Cannon Street tonight (Monday, July 18).
Brazilian Salgado, 71, considered the greatest photo-journalist of his generation, has travelled the world over his long career, recording ever-changing humanity and witnessing some of the major (and sometimes horribly brutal) events of our recent history. The film which is certified 12A will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets are: £4 for Louth Film Club members, £6.90 for non-members and £5.50 for concessions.
