Ten find work at recruitment fair in Skegness
Over 1,300 jobseekers attended fairs along the coast, with the one in Skegness being held at the Embassy Centre on Wednesday.
The events run by Skegness Jobcentre and East Lindsey District Council aimed to match job seekers with potential employers, including Haven, Park Resorts, Butlins, Richmond Holiday Centre, Coastfields Leisure, McDonalds, Skegness Pier, and Blue Anchor Leisure.

Hide AdEmma Hancock from Fantasy Island said: “The Jobs Fairs are very important for local businesses as they bring lots of job seekers together and help for employment for the forthcoming season”.
Blue Anchor Leisure interviewed and offered employment to five local people within the first hour of the Jobs Fair at Skegness. Kevin Sharpe from Blue Anchor Leisure, said: “These Fairs are a good opportunity to recruit a large number of people and allows easy liaison with other businesses and training providers”.
The Council’s Portfolio Holder for Coastal Economy, Councillor Steve Kirk, said: “I’m pleased that people have already been offered jobs as a result of attending the fairs. It shows just how valuable the fairs are for so many people in our community.”
