Meet the four cousins who are cleaning up Horncastle
Max Myers (6), Hugo Myers (2), Enza Bell (5) and Iris Bell (3) might not have super-human powers...but they are making a big difference in the town.
The four cousins have formed their very own litter picking group during lockdown.

Now, thanks to a generous grandad, the four have their own grabbers and will be out and about, helping to keep Horncastle tidy.
Sophie Bell, mum of Enza and Iris, said: “Really, it started with Max (my nephew) who was taking part in a challenge which included litter picking.
“The other three said they wanted to take part.
“They really enjoyed it and the only problem was we only had the one grabber but now they have one each.

The quartet have already covered Louth Road, parts of the Spa Trail and a footpath near the sports centre.
They plan to include other litter hot-spots in the town.
Sophie added: “It’s really given them a focus during lockdown and we’re so proud of them.
“I think they’d go out every day if they could. It was really wet when we started and then last week, it was just too hot.”

Sophie added: “Three of them actually stood in some dog poo - including Iris.
“Dog walkers should clean up after their pets.
“We try to bring our children up the right way by throwing litter in bins.
“It’s really difficult explaining to children at that age why some people just don’t seem to care.
“The amount of litter we’ve found makes you wonder whether anyone does care.”
