Golden celebrations set for Brigg school's 50-year milestone
St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy in Brigg is this summer celebrating half a century since the school was built in the town’s Grammar School Road.
To mark the occasion, the school is opening its doors to visitors with a series of events to be held in the first week of July.

Headteacher David Sidaway said: “St Mary’s has had a presence in Brigg for 140 years and, throughout that time, it has played an important role in the town.
“To celebrate 50 years at Grammar School Road, we are inviting anyone with connections to the school – past pupils, grandparents or former teachers - to come along and join in the festivities.”
The events begin on Friday, July 1 with a cheese and wine evening to be held in the school hall from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.
