Gainsborough: In Bloom needs you to help improve the town
Residents and business owners may have noticed the colourful wooden planters introduced to key gate ways of the town supported by local firms but now the team behind the improvements are appealing for help from everyone who wants to see their town do well in the competition.
Chairman of the In Bloom group, Jo Biddle, said: “It’s all hands on deck now as we’re fast approaching the judge’s visit. We’re desperate for people to take ownership of parts of Gainsborough that our judges will take in to account when viewing the overall town. We’ve done what we can as volunteers to improve key areas but now it’s those areas in between that need attention.”

Town Manager, Samantha Mellows, said: “This is a chance to get Gainsborough put on the map as being a clean, presentable market town in which the residents and businesses take pride of.”
