He said: “Our ladies are in a very strong position to become league champions, having won all four matches, and they seem to be getting stronger with each match.”

“The boys are in third place, while the girls have performed well with a depleted team due to fixture congestion.”
The club chairman is delighted with the strength in depth at the Harriers.
He added: We have come a long way since joining this league, because three years ago we did not have a senior men’s or women’s track and field team for our juniors to move into.”

“As our senior teams get stronger, over the next couple of years, we can consider joining the men’s and women’s Midland League, which will give all of our athletes a higher level of competition.”
