Farming Fellowship for Wragby Reverend
A Methodist Minister from Wragby has been honoured for his work supporting this county's extensive farming community and setting up the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network.
The Rev Canon Alan Robson, who has served as Lincolnshire’s Agricultural Chaplain for more than 15 years, was awarded the Fellowship of Royal Agricultural Societies by Her Royal Highness Countess of Wessex at a ceremony at the House of Lords.
“HRH was utterly charming and spent considerable time chatting to everyone,” he said.
“It was a huge privilege to receive this award and so enjoyable as Faye, my daughter, was able to join me, along with the other chaps from Lincolnshire, also recognised by the societies.”
