New path being spoilt by dog foul offenders
North Lincolnshire Council, which constructed the path, invested £10,000 to provide dog bins along the route, but litter picking volunteers have noticed a rise in dog fouling, claiming dog owners are not clearing up after their pets.
“We know there are lots of responsible dog owners, but more need to be so,” said Coun Rob Waltham.

Volunteers, organised by the Ancholme River Trust, litter pick on a monthly basis.
They meet at 10am by the County Bridge, but they are not there to pick up and clean away dog waste.
Dog owners are therefore being urged to take bags with them on their walks.
