Concerned motorists have accused Derbyshire County Council of not doing enough to prevent accidents on a dangerous road.

The A619 Worksop Road out of Barlborough was more like an ice rink over Christmas as a number of cars skidded off the tarmac as temperatures dropped close to freezing.

And now drivers are saying the council had not done enough to treat the roads or warn drivers of the icy conditions.
