TEN YEARS AGO: Two new play areas for Skegness school
Skegness Infant School was all the more ‘Jolly’ after the unveiling of two new play areas 10 years ago.
Secured through a mix of Government backing and fundraising, the Jolly Fun Zone and Jolly Adventure Zone give pupils a chance to tackle a raft of obstacles, including wobbly bridges, stepping stones, and balance beams.
Head teacher Sue Roy said that in addition to playtime, the areas also helped with team building and problem-solving exercises.
