Someone on Grantham Road praised everyone's contributions say: "I felt a bit silly grabbing my boys thinking other people would not bother. It was brilliant, well done everyone. I think Sleaford is getting it. I can no longer tell the time by the traffic on the road. We can do it, stay safe."
Others mentioned hearing pans being banged, saying: "It was quite emotional to see and hear so many of us united in our appreciation."
Someone out delivering at the time said: "I was out doing my job, delivering food to people. As I was going down Russel Crescent everyone that was out even cheered me on. Feels great to know even people like myself are appreciated in these times.
"But well done to each and everyone of you that spared at minute for the NHS and key workers."
