The Odd Couple is given a female take by Louth Playgoers
Neil Simons' contemporary classic about two male friends, The Odd Couple, is being given a female take by Louth Playgoers.
This fast-moving comedy starts with a close-knit group of female friends playing their weekly game of trivial pursuits.
The coterie girls are meeting at Olive Madisons’ apartment, a divorcee who freely admits to being a slob: “I leave a mess when I read a book.”

Hide AdLate to arrive is Florence Unger, a stickler for detail who would try the patience of a saint, and who has unfortunately just become separated from her husband.
As life would have it, the slob and the fuss-pot decide to room together – with hilarious results.
The Odd Couple is at the Riverhead Theatre from April 11 to 16. Tickets are £8 and £5 from www.louthplaygoers.com or 01507 600350.
