Hide AdComfort and Joy is a hilarious look at the pros and cons of a great family Christmas with characters we all recognise from our own festive gatherings, from the out-of-tune carol singers to the new neighbours and the relatives who flock home for the holidays to the daughter’s new boyfriend, who is called Crispin – how will he fit in with this northern family?
Added to this is a dog called Trumpton who barks from the wings and has a wind problem, two frightened cats who’ve had an ‘accident’ in the car, 12 stick insects who get mixed up with a bowl of twiglets and a turkey last seen being dragged down the path by the dog and cats having a tug of war.
Comfort and Joy will be performed at Everton Village Hall from October 28-31 at 7.30pm each night.
Tickets are £6 (£5 NUS) on 01777 817275 or website www.evertonvillageplayers.co.uk
